Invitation to a Feast

The door to a championship for Fenerbahçe Ülker stands ajar and the team will spare no effort to secure the cup when it appears before its fans tomorrow evening at Abdi Ipekçi.

With Fenerbahçe Ülker leading Türk Telekom 3 – 1 in the series, the 5th match of the Beko Basketball League Play-Off will take place tomorrow in Istanbul at Abdi Ipekçi.  The yellow and navy team’s experienced forward Mirsad Türkcan, says that despite having occasionally fallen behind Telekom, Fenerbahçe will show a positive reaction and win the game.

Adding that both teams have played their best games during the series, Mirsad Türkcan said, “We have already proved that we are the better team and are very close to winning our second championship.  We will be very well prepared on Wednesday and raise the championship cup along with our fabulous fans after we win the match.”

Fener wants to wrap it up, Telekom wants to continue

With play-off standing at 3–1, Fenerbahçe is intent on winning the match and becoming champions tomorrow, while Telekom is bent on a victory and forcing subsequent matches.
