Ülker announced its first quarter 2022 financial results
Ülker Bisküvi increased its sales revenue to 5.9 billion TL in the first quarter of 2022. The share of Türkiye operations in the sales was 60 percent where as the share of export and international operations in the sales revenue was 40 percent
Ülker Bisküvi continued its growth in the first quarter of 2022. According to a statement sent to the Public Disclosure Platform (PDP), the company increased its sales revenue to 5.9 billion TL in the first quarter of this year. While the sales revenue of the company's share in the total sales reached to 60 percent; the sales of its export and international operations’ share in the sales realized as 40 percent.
Indicating that Ülker Bisküvi continues to contribute to our country with its production, exports, employment and investments, Ülker CEO Mete Buyurgan conveyed the following information about the company's performance: “The impact of the pandemic continues, albeit with lessening. We closely follow the fluctuations in global economies, increases in input costs, possible risks in the supply chain, war and geopolitical incidents in the region. Our company closed the first quarter of 2022 with a sales of 5.9 billion TL, as a result of our strong and proactive risk structure, our agile work structure prepared for every scenario, our workforce in wide geographies and our successful management.
Stating that their strong position in the market and stable growth continues in Türkiye and in all geographies such as the Middle East, North Africa and Central Asia, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Kazakhstan, Buyurgan said, “Taking into account the trends and demands, we have introduced more than 150 products with our consumers so far. Our factories in Türkiye have become our production and export base for our snack business. We produce in Türkiye and export our products to more than 100 countries around the world. With the strength we derive from our leadership and brands, we will continue our stable growth strategy this year by contributing to our stakeholders.”
