A SENIOR APPOINTMENT AT ÜLKER...
A significant change of position has been made in Türkiye's leading food company Ülker. Mustafa Kabakçı, who worked as Marketing Manager of Ülker Bisküvi Business Unit for the last two years, has been appointed as CMO of Ülker. Kabakçı will be responsible for creating and implementing marketing strategies for Godiva’s market series and McVitie’s brands as well as for Ülker brands.
Aslı Özen Turhan, who has put her signature under important successes for 18 years in Ülker and worked as CMO of Ülker for the last 3 years, will work as CMO of pladis and be responsible for United Kingdom and Ireland.
Ülker’s CEO Mete Buyurgan who talked about this important change of position, said that: “Mustafa Kabakçı, who launched many products within the time he worked as Biscuit Marketing Director and made significant contributions to increase our share in the market, will lead our marketing teams from now on. I believe that the experiences he has will add a huge power to our company and wish him success.

Mustafa Kabakçı, who graduated from English Business Administration department of Marmara University in 2004, began his professional career as a Brand Manager in Evyap in the same year and worked as Commercial Manager in Iran Evyap between 2007 and 2009. Kabakçı has been transferred to Ülker Kellogg’s, which is under the structure of Yıldız Holding, in 2009 and worked as Senior Brand Manager and Marketing Manager between 2009 and 2014. He worked as Marketing Manager in NIVEA Beiersdorf Türkiye, Global Marketing Manager in Beiersdorf Germany and Marketing Director in NIVEA Beiersdorf Türkiye, respectively, between 2014 and 2020. Kabakçı was responsible for Biscuit Business Unit in marketing organization before being appointed as CMO of Ülker.
