Another victory from Fenerbahçe Ülker
Euroleague “Devotion” Marketing Award – Fenerbahçe Ülker has won the “Bronze Award” in recognition of its marketing campaign.
One of the world’s leading sports organizations, the Euroleague Basketball League, instituted a marketing scheme in 2006-2007 to strengthen the image of its name. Under the program, besides competing in Euroleague games, participating teams also compete with their marketing campaigns. This year, at the 2nd annual award ceremonies, the Fenerbahçe Ülker basketball team was recognized for its marketing efforts. FB placed 3rd , behind the Alba Berlin and Montepaschi Siena teams, and received the "Bronze Award".
Fenerbahçe Ülker' marketing efforts during the 2007-2008 season raised awareness of Turkeys participation in the Euroleague and generally created more interest in basketball.
