Award winners chosen in the FOOTBALLforEVERYONE (HERKESiçinFUTBOL) Photography Contest

The awards ceremony for the FOOTBALLforEVERYONE photography contest, which was held for the second time with the support of Ülker, was held in the Turkish Football Federation building.

Owners of the winning works in the FOOTBALLforEVERYONE photography contest, which was held by the Turkish Football Federation and Ülker, were presented their awards by TFF Football Development Director Tolunay Kafkas and Yoldız Holding Brand Communication Director Mehmet Uçan at the TFF İstinye Building

Speaking at the awards ceremony, Tolunay Kafkas said “While our policy of making football accessible to more and more people is rapidly increasing the number of our licensed football players, we also want to stress the good things about football and that it is for everyone.  Participation in, and the quality of the works submitted to, the photography contest, the scope of which we expanded this year with Ülker support, made us very happy. The interest in our people in the contest and the beauty of football make us hopeful for the future.”

Yıldız Holding Brand Communication Director Mehmet Uçan, stressing that for years Ülker had been a brand that was involved in sports, said “We aim to make sports part of children’s lives through the Football Villages, Football Festivals and HİF (FOOTBALLforEVERYONE) Centers, which we have carried out for five years as part of the Turkish Football Federation’s FOOTBALLforEVERYONE project. This photography contest not only helped us reach our goal, but also once again showed everyone the beauty of football.”

The contest was organized into two categories - press and amateur - and held under the supervision of the Turkish Federation of Photographers. Coming in first in the press category with his photograph “Kızlar” (Girls), Ercan Arslan, from Milliyet Newspaper also came in second  with his work "Çadır Kent” (Tent City).
