Companies are becoming “Green”

Global warming is not a subject just to pay lip service to anymore. It’s not enough to simply inform citizens about environmental issues; companies are taking concrete measures.

Since the resources of the earth are limited, the path to sustainable progress is affected by the environment. With this fact in mind, international companies have begun to invest in the environment. Consumers are demanding products from companies which are environmentally sensitive.

Therefore, in global markets and in Turkey, environmental investment is fast becoming a significant competitive factor. Companies in Turkey are revisiting corporate business strategies and basing them on new concepts that are environmentally sensitive. It is particularly noteworthy that the production of ecological products has developed into a trend. Many companies have invested heavily in projects to design and develop environmentally friendly products and environmentally sensitive production processes.
