Kerevitaş Yıldız - a Yıldız Holding subsidiary
Turkey’s first retailer in the frozen foods sector, Kerevitaş Gıda Sanayi ve Ticaret A. Ş., has joined the Yıldız Holding group of companies as a subsidiary.
YH is the parent company of Turkey’s leading brand name Ülker. The business activities of Yıldız Holding are concentrated in the fast consumables (FMCG) food sector. The company makes many investments and forms partnerships in proportion to its growth strategies. To acquire Kerevitaş Gıda Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., Yıldız Holding purchased 51% of the shares of the company from other shareholders for the total price of 20, 317, 975 TL. The shares it purchased are as follows: 935.900.000 shares from Sachsisch-Thüringische Zucker Fabriken Verwaltungsgesellschaft mbH for 8,946,450 TL, 933,908,500 shares of Kerevitaş from Merzeci Holding for the sum of 10,909,714.98 TL; 27,648,000 shares from Ancoker Su Ürünleri Sanayi ve Tic. A.Ş., for the price of 322,977.89 TL, and 11,884,500 shares of Kerevitaş from Mersu Su Ürünleri Sanayi ve Tic. A.Ş. for 138,832.13 TL.
YH’s purchase of Kerevitaş will be completed as soon as it is approved by the Anti-trust Commission.
