Star basketball players Jan Vesely and Bobby dixon star on Ülker Metro ads
The newest member of the Ülker Metro family – Metro Peanut – is now out on store shelves [across Türkiye]. Backing it are three rather energetic basketball ads starring no other than Fenerbahçe’s own Jan Vesely and Bobby Dixon Ülker.

“Energy Comes Without Warning” says Ülker Metro Peanut to youngsters in three new TV commercials that are full of basketball, laughter, energy, and – you guessed it – Metro. In the first commercial, Bobby Dixon catches the ball from Jan Vesely and shatters the basketball hoop with the surge of energy Ülker Metro Peanut just gave him. The second commercial shows Dixon passing the ball to Vesely, who then takes bites into a Metro, grabs the ball, and explodes up. In commercial number three, Vesely – who is shooting hoops with Dixon – is unable to slow down because he just got a spike of energy from a Metro bar. He eventually throws Dixon to the basket hoop instead. Surprised, it dawns on the both of them where they just got their high from: Metro Peanut.
It took six hours to shoot all three commercials at the Fenerbahçe International Sports Complex Ülker Sports Arena. Vesely and Dixon enjoyed every minute of it and proved to be pretty good actors as well. Perhaps… Ülker Metro has something to do with that?
