Young athletes from TFF-Ülker Elite Football Villages (Riva Hasan Doğan National Teams Camp & Training Facility) visited Fenerbahçe. The Elite Football Village girls’ team got a chance to drop in on Team Fenerbahçe at Samandira in training today, both to meet their idols, give them gifts, and to have their photo taken with them.
Young athletes from TFF-Ülker Elite Football Villages (Riva Hasan Doğan National Teams Camp & Training Facility) visited Fenerbahçe. The Elite Football Village girls’ team got a chance to drop in on Team Fenerbahçe at Samandira in training today, both to meet their idols, give them gifts, and to have their photo taken with them.
One hundred two (102) talented kids -- 46 girls and 56 boys -- from the Elite Football Village have been selected to play football in two rounds from January 26 to February 8, 2015. Scouting took place this past summer in 2014. The 12-13 year olds will learn a whole array of different things in addition to football for a whole week.
Expert coaches will help the young athletes to hone their football skills, whilst instilling in them the game’s core values – chivalry, and solidarity. To date, Football Village project has given 4,500 kids the opportunity to do sports and more. Within the past eight years, some 36 boys and 44 girls from the Village have moved on to play on national youth teams.
