Ülker is still supporting football projects for kids! In the summer of 2015, 102 kids – 46 girls and 56 boys – were hand-picked last summer (2015) Now, they will get together at the two-stage Elite TFF-Ülker Football Villages in Kuşadası between January 25 and February 6, 2016.

TFF-Ülker Elite Football Villages’ 2016 season kicked off. Talented 12 and 13 year olds from across Türkiye gathered at the Altınordu Football Club Selçuk Facilities Campsite in Kuşadası to learn how to play advanced football for seven days from national team coaches, as well as to simply have a good time.

In addition to receiving valuable feedback, the kids also get to learn about nutrition thanks to SÜGAV (Sabri Ülker Food Research Foundation). Football helped the kids discover what solidarity means. On the last day, they will get to tour The House of Virgin Mary and Ephesus.

So far, the Football Village project has given 5,300 children the opportunity to play sports and hone their skills. Over the past nine years, some 200 boys and girls have been selected from the village to play on national and professional teams.

Ülker attaches great importance to investing in projects that raise children who love sports and being physically active. The Football Village project allows them to learn about fair play and nutrition from a young age. They also play chess, do theatre, and socialize. The project at the same time allows coaches to scout potential and expanding their talent pool. For the past nine years, Ülker has reached close to 276,000 children via various Grassroots projects.
