Ülker, biggest supporter of the National Team
Ülker continues to be the largest supporter of the National Team. Preparations for sponsorship and communication strategies for National Team-Euro 2008 have been announced.
Ülker Corporate Communications Director Zuhal Şeker says that its sponsorship of the National Team is significant for Ülker, which invests 38 million dollars annually in Turkish sports. Şeker also made it clear that the June 2007 sponsorship agreement for the National Team will run for 5 years and that its investments will also be aimed at promoting healthy lifestyle choices by encouraging balanced nutrition and active involvement in sports.
A Red-White Love Affair
Ülker, in its role as the main sponsor of the National Team, has prepared an advertising film, National Team video clip, internet site and several field activities. Production of the filmed advertisement was started 4 months ago and 800 individuals took part in the filming. The video clip features the 18 players from the National Team. Şeker also discussed that the perception of Chewy’s red and white chewing gum as a sponsor of the National Team will be enhanced. Şeker indicated that Chewy Red and White with the slogan ‘All the way with Red and White, We Support our National Team!’ and packaging with our team colors is expected to reach the sales target of 1 million units.
