About 100 coaches and 50 referees took part in 224 games played in the Festival.
From Tekirdağ to Diyarbakır, nearly 1,000 junior basketball players from 40 cities throughout Turkey arrived in Bursa and played plenty of basketball in five different sport halls over five days. A total of 64 teams, 48 boys' teams and 16 girls' teams, participated in the Festival, which is not about winning or losing. Juniors visited historic sites in their spare time, toured the Bursa Botanical Zoo and took a lot of pictures as reminder of the event.
The Junior Basketball Festival reached out to nearly 11,000 children in the Turkish Basketball Federation's event, sponsored by Ülker.
