Ülker’s super support of the National Team

Ülker Corporate Communications Director Şeker says that the group invests 38 million dollars in Turkish sports every year.

Ülker's sponsorship and communications strategies for the National Football A Team and Euro 2008 have been announced. At a press conference held at the Ritz Carlton Hotel, Ülker Corporate Communications Director Zuhal Şeker said that Ülker invests 38 million dollars annually in Turkish sport. She reminded the attendees that tha group’s sponsorship of the National Team which began in June 2007, will be valid until 2012. Şeker announced that an advertising film, National Team video clip, internet site and field activities have be prepared. She says the company has targeted million messages to be sent to the team through the National Team web site and the sale of 1 million packages of red and white Chewy brand chewing gum. Şeker also predicted a 15% increase in sales of Içım brand milk products.
