Universites to compete for "Ülker Halley" at "bizz@campus"

Applications have started for bizz@campus, a competition organized by Yıldız Holding's snack company pladis for the brightest ideas of university students. Students can apply until January 26, 2020 at www.bizzkampus.com. The focus of this year’s projects will be Ülker Halley.

The application process has begun for the “bizz@campus” competition, which allows university students to present their innovative marketing strategies on a different Ülker brand every year. Students can apply with their ideas for “Halley”, one of Ülker's most popular brands, until January 26, 2020. At bizz@campus, junior and senior undergraduate and graduate students participate on teams of 2 or 3 to gain teamwork experience, develop innovative ideas, fully plan a project, and make presentations. Nearly 30,000 students on 10,000 teams have participated in the competition, which will be held for the 9th time this year.

Last year, 2,314 students on more than a thousand teams from 157 different universities participated in the competition. The winner was the Aurora team, made up of senior undergraduate students from the Department of Advertising Design and Communication from Yeditepe University.

The top three teams will be awarded cash prizes worth TL 20,000, TL 15,000 and TL 10,000. They’ll also get the opportunity to do a long-term internship and even work for Pladis. Students can submit their applications at www.bizzkampus.com.

Briefly evaluating the competition, pladis Turkey Human Resources Vice President Faruk Gözleveli said, “We are very happy that bizz@campus gets bigger every year. Last year, our students came up with very impressive ideas for Ülker Oneo. This year, we expect innovative ideas for Halley, one of Ülker's most popular brands whose taste has been a favorite for years. Our interaction with the students at bizz@campus is an extraordinary experience both for us and for the young people. We are thrilled to work closely with them, to introduce ourselves to them and to get to know them. We are organizing the 9th bizz@campus this year and I hope our young contestants will have a productive time here and experience things that will benefit them throughout their lives."
